I’m an astronomer specialized in infrared instrumentation and observations. My IR Lab in Kyung Hee University is now developing a new CCD camera, CQUEAN (CCD Camera for Quasar in EArly uNiverse) which will be installed at the 2.1m telescope at the McDonald University. We are also participating the IGRINS (Immersion GRating INfrared Spectrometer) project together with the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute and the University of Texas. In addition to the instrument projects, we are observing the star forming regions and the central regions of galaxies using various telescopes including the IRSF telescope in the South Africa.
